TSB Socials is a community initiative within The Science Basement that brings together students and researchers from many countries, disciplines, and backgrounds. We aim to create a welcoming and multicultural space where members can connect and get to know one another.
Every month we organize a social event for TSB members, with activities chosen by the community. From game nights and cultural evenings to group outings and other creative gatherings, each event is an opportunity to spend time together and strengthen the connections within the group.
Our goal is to foster a friendly, respectful, and inclusive environment where the TSB community can grow and thrive together
Latest community events
TSB Sauna at Helsinki's Allas Pool & Sauna
TSB members gathered at Allas Pool & Sauna for a relaxing winter community activity. We spent the morning enjoying the saunas, swimming in the warm thermal pool, and for the bravest participants, even taking a dip in the Baltic Sea. It was a cozy and refreshing way to spend time together and connect outside the lab. Thanks to everyone who joined and made it a great community morning! 🧖 🌊
TSB Pikkujoulu in Dec 2025
TSB members celebrated Pikkujoulu and Finland’s Independence Day with a cozy festive dinner at Levant Kallio. The evening was filled with good food, holiday spirit, and great company, bringing the community together for a warm celebration of the season. 🎄✨
