In your quest for understanding, you have most likely encountered dead ends, faced false starts, and experienced moments of frustration. Yet, it is precisely through these trials and errors that breakthroughs are born.
We want to hear how you or your field embraced failures as opportunities for learning and how they have propelled you forward on your journey. We want to hear about roadblocks, false starts, and dead ends. This theme is an invitation to explore the nuances of failure in the scientific process. Reflect on the unexpected turns, the unexpected outcomes, and the lessons learned along the way. How did you or your field adapted your approach in the face of unexpected outcomes? What breakthroughs emerged from the ashes of failure?
We welcome pitches and contributors from all fields, and you can write about any topic that tickles your interest and from any perspective as long as you take inspiration from the current theme in relation to research/science! We do most of the visuals in-house, but are happy to support collaborations between art & research, intersections between different fields, or any other interesting initiatives.
