I am a FIMM-EMBL PhD student at the Finnish Institute for Molecular Medicine, with a background in microbiology and a strong interest in human genetics and bioinformatics, particularly their potential to improve diagnostics and human health. I enjoy combining experimental and computational approaches, and care about making complex
scientific ideas clearer and more accessible. Alongside my research, I have over eight years of experience in teaching and mentoring, where patience and clear communication have always been central to my approach. Outside science, you’ll usually find me at the gym, swimming, or at a concert. Music, good conversations, and staying active keep me sane between analyses and experiments.
