Priyal Dhawan

I am a PhD researcher in the Doctoral Programme of Biomedicine at the University of Helsinki. My research is focused on understanding how basement membrane components influence the initiation of breast cancer. I am interested in science communication and in presenting complex scientific concepts in a clear and accessible way. Outside the lab, you can find me reading and unwinding by experimenting with new recipes. I also love hiking and exploring new corners of the world.
