Disclaimer – Under no circumstances or in any way can “The Science Basement” or persons otherwise affiliated with the “The Science Basement” be held liable in respect of any material submitted and published at Blogging science, and cannot be held responsible for its content and accuracy by a User. Nonetheless, “The Science Basement”will remove any content that might constitute a legal violation, such as material submitted in potential breach of copyright.
  2. If you are using other people’s work in your blog, it is your responsibility to make sure my use falls within the scope of the fair use exception or within the terms of any license associated with the work. If the license does not permit the use, or if your use would be considered to exceed the scope of the fair use exception, then it is your responsibility to obtain permission from the copyright holder to include the third-party work in your work.
  3. Copyright – By submitting material for publication, you guarantee that you are the original copyright holder of the work in question, and you own the rights to use the information. 
  4. Review – Any material submitted will be reviewed by the “Blogging Science” team, part of the “The Science Basement”, which decides on its publication. The publication of any material submitted will be at the sole discretion of The Science Basement.
  5. Reservation of Rights – “The Science Basement” reserves the right to accept, reject or remove any material submitted for publication with no explanation.
  6. Offensive content – Any material deemed defamatory, racist, or otherwise illegal or offending will in any case not be approved for publication.
  7. You grant ‘The Science Basement’ permission to publish your work on our website and share and promote it in “The Science Basement” social media channels.
  8. E-mails – You agree to receive occasional emails from “The Science Basement” during our submission process.
  9. You are free to publish your blog also on any other website or  channel apart from “The Science Basement”.
  10. You agree to have CC BY creative commons license to your work. This license allows reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator. This license allows for commercial use.
