I am an Academy of Finland Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki studying the Sun, its active nature, and how it affects the planets and also human life and activity in space and on ground. You can call me a solar physicist and a space weather forecaster! And yes! We can forecast weather in space! A different kind of weather than the one you are familiar with though ? In my free time I am a science communicator. I believe in the importance of scientists communicating their research to the broader society! You can hear my voice asking silly questions to our podcast interviewees and sharing random stories from my life. I am also a helping hand in the afternoons in The Science Basement team!
