Mihkel Veske

Mihkel is a PhD student in University of Helsinki specializing in computational materials science. He holds MSc in experimental physics from University of Tartu. Over the years he has participated in many crazy projects: built robots, developed artificial muscles, developed software for Estonian first satellite etc. Next to having great time with science, he once-a-while finds him from convincing also other people that physics is fun.

Mihkel’s interests include all kinds of sports in fresh air (jogging, riding a bike, skiing, hiking) and anything that can be fitted under the term DIY. During the winter he always feels temptation to spend at least one night in the forest under the stars.
